Continue walking along the ledge until you spot a small opening in the cliff face. This is your entrance to Borderlands 4 Boosting the next area. As you step inside, you'll hear Myrmidon's voice once more, this time directing you to "slouch thee to the cleft."
Follow the path to a large open room where you'll find a skeletal shrine on the left side of the room. The Desecrated Bolt needs to be placed on a small pedestal in the center, surrounded by bones. Once you do, expect a reaction from Myrmidon, who will scream ominously.
Battle the Cursed Myrmidon
Upon placing the bolt, a unique enemy called Cursed Myrmidon of the Cruel Dawn will rise from the ground. This special Psycho enemy will put your combat skills to the test. Defeat him, and Myrmidon will speak once more, declaring, "My oath is fulfilled."
Listen to Vycarias' Tale
Just when you think the mission is over, a new character named Vycarias the Lore-Singer will appear. Emerging from the same skull that housed Myrmidon, Vycarias offers to share the story of Zanzibart. He'll explain the lore surrounding this mysterious figure and the events leading to this strange encounter.
When prompted, choose "Hearken to Vycarias' tale," and settle in for a lengthy narrative. Vycarias will recount an epic saga that offers deep insights into Zanzibart's backstory, and it's well worth listening to.
The tale is quite long, so be patient and let the Lore-Singer finish his story.
Mission Conclusion
Once Vycarias finishes his story, the mission will conclude. You'll receive the standard rewards—XP, Cash, and Eridium—as well as a truly unique Easter egg experience. The mission is a nod to fans of Dark Souls and the Borderlands series' sense of humor, making it an unforgettable side quest.

Once you've wrapped up One Gassy Issue, fast travel back to Lakeside Properties using the Sumpview Falls point you unlocked earlier. Speak with Beth, who explains that while the gas network is restored, the city's surveillance systems remain compromised. She's ready to Borderlands 4 Boost work from her hidden basement lab, and that's where you come in.
